This dress is lovely and smartly made (a little see through on the bottom but then not because there is an extra layer sewn in starting above the knees). I ended up returning it because the way it is cinched gives a pregnant look due to the billowing fabric (even though it was a XS). A good dress for someone with a bump.

I'm short and curvy so I'm always a bit cautious when ordering maxi or midi dresses. I'm also not a young woman (as are most of the models for the NL, but I wear what I like!) I love love love the color combo of this dress. It's a perfect summer to fall (which barely exists in AZ) dress. I'm a teacher and I love my dresses. I liked the tassel tie but felt it didn't secure the waist enough, so I added a rafia belt which kept the same vibe of the dress and I still left the tassel hanging. I styled in the same boho theme with crochet wedges and raided my extensive jewelry collection for matching pieces which includes a very long chain with charms from Target about 15 years ago and a gorgeous ring I bought in Tibet 2 years ago (I lived in China). I completed the look with a crochet hobo purse from a longtime favorite purse company. No names. :)
